With the arrival of Labor Day, summer 2020 has pretty much come to an end. What a strange summer. We didn’t go to the beach or boardwalk with the kids once this summer, it just didn’t feel the same. With that being said, the brisk weather this weekend brought has me feeling so excited for autumn. The things I love most about the fall are all in the comfort of my own home anyway, so I feel like that magic can’t be taken away like most other things this year.

We shot this fall family session in just 15 minutes, after the sun had sunk behind the trees. I love the warm autumn tones in this beautiful family’s wardrobe. I just had to try this fun shot with mom & dad and the autumn leaves too!

What I love about shooting bigger families sessions is the chaos of it all, kids running around, hugging & kissing mom and dad, not quite sitting still & posing for the camera- that’s my style! Capturing authentic interactions between siblings & parents and genuine belly laughs- I believe those are the moments that us parents want to remember most.
