A Heartwarming Family Session at Edwin Forsythe Wildlife Refuge

There’s something so special about capturing a family’s love year after year. Recently, I had the joy of photographing one of my favorite families—this amazing family of six—at the picturesque Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge in Galloway, NJ. It was a perfect evening filled with golden light, genuine connection, and so much fun.

A Six-Year Journey

For six years, I’ve had the honor of documenting this family’s journey. From little milestones to big moments, watching their kids grow and their bond strengthen has been a true privilege. Every session feels like catching up with old friends, and this year was no different.

A Night to Remember

We started the session with formal portraits, taking full advantage of the stunning backdrop the refuge offers. The warm evening light, tall grasses, and peaceful water views created a timeless setting for their family photos. Everyone looked amazing in their thoughtfully coordinated outfits, and their smiles were as radiant as the sunset behind them.

Once the formal shots were complete, it was time for the fun to begin! The kids ran through the open fields, laughing and playing while I captured their carefree joy. From piggyback rides to group hugs, these candid moments truly reflected the love and connection that make this family so special.
