South Jersey Newborn Photography | Galloway NJ

Baby Carly came to visit me a few weeks ago for her posed South Jersey newborn session! She came in at 13 days old, which is my sweet spot for posed newborn sessions. They tend to be sleepiest before two weeks, though I have posed babies up to a month old just fine! If your baby is past the “normal” age for newborn photos- just ask!!

For Carly’s session we used this gorgeous blue fabric from Hello Little Props paired perfectly with this Poppy and Cy headband. I put her on my cream flokati rug with this gorgeous Alpine Lane bonnet as well as this Created by Carli bohemian tieback which I adore!!

One of my favorite images from this session is the set we created on the tan backdrop with the heart bowl shadow underneath. It is so simple and timeless, I’m obsessed! I will definitely be ordering a studio sample of this one!!

Carly was awake for a little bit of her session, which was fine because she had big beautiful eyes and we got some amazing awake shots! Parents often become nervous if baby isn’t falling asleep, but I like to roll with it and get images of baby exactly how they are!
