Historic Smithville Village Maternity Session | Smithville NJ

Today’s featured session showcases Brianna & Dandre, a beautiful couple we met last summer through their swim class program our kiddos went to. When Brianna contacted me for maternity & newborn sessions, I regretted I was unable to do their newborn photos since I’ll be on maternity leave, but we were happy to get their maternity session on the calendar! Unfortunately covid-19 had other plans and we had to postpone for a month- in fact, they were my first session back from isolation!

We chose Historic Smithville Village because there are so many photo ops here within a short walking range, and we really lucked out with how perfect the sun was shining on this evening. Brianna chose two gowns from my client closet- the popular blue Fillyboo gown & this beautiful tan Free People gown. Even though we weren’t able to have her hair and makeup done and try on gowns at my studio, everything still worked out perfectly and her and Dandre looked perfect!

We laughed through the whole session and it was honestly such a great way to come back from a 2 month leave. They chose my biggest digital package and I absolutely love the variety of images they chose here.
