Here's what to expect from your first consult to product delivery
STEP ONe
The Consultation
After you fill out the inquiry form, a member of our team will be in touch within 24 hours to go over FAQ, the experience, pricing, and scheduling/booking. We will discuss your vision for the session, availability, and customizations.
All clients begin with our in house hair and makeup application for an enjoyable pampered experience to begin the day. Ally will guide you through the posing head to toe- no experience necessary! Reserve about 1.5 hours for the session part of your experience. We typically shoot 5-6 looks with wardrobe provided by our studio.

Reveal and Ordering
Within a week following your session, we will review the images together and select your favorites. Most of our maternity clients enjoy the acrylic cover album or folio box with a variety of wall art.
The best part: all of our hard work has resulted in your own stunning artwork! Ally will deliver your products and, when necessary, install wall art pieces.

Our client closet offers 100+ pieces full of bodysuits, silk and chiffon fabrics, elegant fluffy gowns, form fitting sleek gowns, pants, separates, suits, and more! Clients can choose 5 pieces to wear for their maternity session.
We recommend bringing a nude strapless bra and thong style underwear, a black bra- and that's really it! Optional items depending on your style choice: Calvin Klein set, loose fitting non maternity jeans, heels without an ankle strap, wedding veil, jewelry.
ABSOLUTELY. No experience is necessary and everyone in our portfolio are every day women like you and me who have no professional modeling experience. I will show you the poses and tell you to lift your chin, where to put your hands, toes, and we will use a fan when necessary to add the dramatic wind effect! Our assistant will do the beautiful fabric tosses you see throughout our portfolio.
At Ally Kimpton Photography, we are centered around family. Your partner and other children are always welcome as we firmly believe in always having an updated family portrait hanging in the home.
Investment begins at $1200 and our options include wall art, albums, folio boxes and digital files. Financing options are available.
"Do you offer a bundle for multiple packages?"
Yes! Ask about our popular Belly to Baby program, where we will be able to capture all of your belly + baby's first year milestones in a consistent fashion.
RESERVE YOUR SESSION DATE
"When should I book my maternity session?"
We recommend scheduling your session once you hit second trimester to ensure availability. We recommend moms come in between 28-32 weeks so they have a visible belly but are still comfortable.
