Here's what to expect from your first consult to product delivery
STEP ONe
The Consultation
After you fill out the inquiry form, a member of our team will be in touch within 24 hours to go over FAQ, the experience, pricing, and scheduling/booking. We will discuss your vision for the session, availability, and customizations.
Mom will begin with hair & makeup while Ally and Gina work comfortably posing baby onto various scenes. Family posing is included, and with Ally's guidance- every image is sure to be perfection. Reserve 2-3 hours for in studio sessions and 1.5 hours for in home sessions. We keep the studio warmed to 82 degrees for baby's comfort.

Reveal and Ordering
Within a week following your session, we will review the images together and select your favorites. Most of our newborn clients enjoy the acrylic cover album with a variety of wall art to showcase their beautiful baby on the walls of their home!
The best part- all of our hard work has resulted in your own stunning artwork! Ally will deliver your products and, when necessary, install wall art pieces.

We do offer in home sessions, but they are more casual and focused on your in home setting and your family together, not the posed/styled images we take in studio. You can find examples of both types of sessions in our newborn portfolio.
Your shopping list is minimal, if nonexistent, for your newborn session! We want you focused on relaxing at home bonding with the baby, not out buying off a shopping list for your session. We make the experience easy for our clients- meaning our studio carries everything necessary for a successful newborn portrait session.
With almost a decade of experience under our belt, we've encountered all types of baby personalities- wide awake and curious, milk drunk, gassy, colicky, fussy- you name it. Yet for every single session, we have taken our time and still provided a beautiful gallery for our clients. We have many tricks under our sleeve to soothe babies and get "the shot." It is very important to hire someone experienced with newborns specifically, as this genre takes years of special training and experience- they don't call us the baby whisperers for nothing!
At Ally Kimpton Photography, we are centered around family. Your partner and other children are always welcome as we firmly believe in always having an updated family portrait hanging in the home.
Investment begins at $1200 and our options include wall art, albums, folio boxes and digital files. Financing options are available.
