What is a Fresh 48?

Fresh 48 sessions are the modern, lifestyle take on the classic hospital photos of your new baby. There is little to no posing done, just me capturing the details of your little one’s arrival. The hospital bracelet, the pink and blue striped blankets, knitted hats, bassinet, and tiny white onesie tops- these are the details that slip away in just a few days.

When to Book

Reserve your fresh 48 the same time as your newborn session! Second trimester is the best time. When baby arrives, text me ASAP and I will make arrangements to be there within a few hours. Sessions take place during the daytime. I only take 5 fresh 48 sessions a month due to the on-call nature of my arrival to the hospital, so I do recommend booking early-however I do have last minute openings on occasion so never hesitate to inquire!

Since these are a lifestyle type session, I don’t use props or pose the way we do for my posed newborn packages. We want to go with the flow and capture some of baby’s first moments earth side! See below for examples of what you can expect to receive in your gallery.
